Debbie Walker Tremlett studied at the University of Tasmania in Hobart, where she completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts and a graduate Diploma of Art Craft and Design.  Debbie was included on the Deans roll of excellence.

Debbie is represented in numerous art collections including the Royal Perth Hospital, The City of Joondalup and The City of Cockburn collections.  She also has work in the private collections of Paola Anselmi and Andrew Nichols.

Debbie has had 3 solo exhibitions all held at the Bett Gallery in Hobart Tasmania, Fragmented, 2002, Hunting in the Grass, 1996, and Trick or Treat, 1995. 

Her most recent group exhibition was with the City of Cockburn’s Show Off exhibition in April 2012.  Debbie has been involved in all but one of these annual shows.

Other shows include Mine Own Executioner Mundaring Arts Centre 2003; Uglielands Fremantle Arts Centre 2001; Mainly Miniatures, Holmes a Court Gallery East Perth 2000; Playtime Fremantle Arts Centre 2000; The Old Customs House Artists Exhibitions 11, 10, 9, Moore’s Building Fremantle 1997-1999; and the Upbeat and Lively exhibition at the Bett Gallery Hobart 1998.

She won the Atwell Portrait Prize WA in 1997, and in 2000 was represented by the Bett Gallery of Hobart, Tasmania at the Melbourne Art Fair.
